This lesson covers 41 words: all 28 from your list plus 13 more (worship, baptism, sermon, scripture, testament, gospel, psalm, parable, Messiah, faith, grace, mercy, covenant). They're in six groups: worship, holy writings, people and leaders, faiths, inner life, and big events. Each word has its syllables, a "say it" pronunciation like rez-uh-REK-shuhn, a phonics clue, a definition and an example sentence.
The plan also includes:
- Lesson basics: grade level (3–8), learning goals and the reading standards it meets.
- Mr. O's Phonics Keys: sound rules like -tion says "shun," ph says "f," and silent letters.
- Word families: for example, repent → repentance and devout → devotion.
- Teaching guide: a 7-step routine for each class and a 5-day schedule.
- An original hip-hop syllable chant.
- Support for different learners, plus a note on talking about each faith respectfully.
- A 16-question quiz with an answer key, and extra activities.
